Forever her angel. Courtney Stodden penned an open letter to her unborn child on Wednesday, July 27, after miscarrying earlier this month.
“My precious Angel,” Stodden’s letter, which she posted to Instagram, began. “I never had a chance to hold your tiny hand. Never will I get to kiss your little warm feet. Never will I have the fortune to look into your precious eyes. … I’ll never get over this … losing you. I hope that you know I wanted to give you life … a beautiful life — and desired so much to watch you grow into an incredible human being,” the reality star concluded. “I know that you’re my guardian angel.”

As previously reported by Us Weekly, Stodden, 21, announced via a statement from her rep on July 17 that at 13 weeks, she had miscarried.
“It is with a heavy heart to inform you that last week Courtney Stodden suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage. Courtney and her husband, Doug, are at an emotional loss for words and are using this time to grieve with their close family and friends,” Stodden’s rep told Us at the time. “Please respect their privacy as the couple try to cope with losing their precious baby and seek the support they both need.”
The former teen bride had been vocal about battling depression during the beginning of her pregnancy.
“I suffer from depression,” the “Reality” singer told Us Weekly when she was just six weeks along. “My depression affects my appetite, sleeping patterns and overall perspective on life. At times, I have severe insomnia and other times I find myself sleeping too much. I have feelings of hopelessness but experience many moments of absolute euphoria.”
“I already love this baby so much,” she had said at the time. “I just fear the thought of motherhood.”
Stodden married her husband, Doug Hutchison — who is 34 years her senior — when she was 16 in May 2011.
The reality star confirmed her baby news to Us exclusively on May 16.
