Drew Barrymore and baby Olive sure are getting a good taste of the Big Apple. Visiting New York City, where husband Will Kopelman‘s family resides, since late August, the L.A. natives have been seen out and about, enjoying the city’s many attractions — including sidewalk strolling!
On Friday, Sept. 20, the beautiful family of three took a walk through the streets on a gorgeous day in Manhattan. Barrymore seemed ready for fall in a stylish floral blazer in autumnal colors and distressed jeans. She wore her hair casual and loose and no makeup whatsoever. Mirrored sunglasses and a gold “Olive” necklace completed her relaxed-chic look.
Olive, meanwhile, who turns 1 Sept. 26, looked adorable in a long-sleeved onesie and gray and black polkadot tights. No shoes were necessary as Dad toted her in her arms. Her hair, now that it’s come in, seems to match Barrymore’s exact strawberry-blonde shade!
The photogenic trio seemed to be giddy with joy as Barrymore beamed at Olive, who reciprocated with gleeful claps and ear-to-ear grins. Indeed there were big smiles all-around — as well as a few sweet smooches.
The mom-daughter duo were spotted on the prior day heading to Jimmy Fallon‘s 39th birthday brunch (Fallon’s wife is Barrymore’s longtime friend and producing partner Nancy Juvonen). And earlier in the week, they were joined by dad Kopelman for an excursion to a toy store.
But it hasn’t been all mommy-and-me time for the actress while in the city. Barrymore stepped out several times sans baby for high-wattage affairs like the Estee Lauder Modern Muse Bash on Sept. 12 and last night’s glamorous New York City Ballet Fall Gala.
No word on when the brood will return to L.A., but likely not till after Olive’s birthday. Barrymore told Us at the Modern Muse Bash, “We have a little party going on for her, a little first birthday that my sister-in-law is throwing.”
