Looking good, Em! Emily Blunt stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week for the episode airing Wednesday, May 14, and showed off her toned figure, just three months after giving birth.
Blunt, 31, welcomed her first child, daughter Hazel, with husband John Krasinski in February 2014. The couple shared the first photo of the adorable tot on Tuesday, May 13, almost four years after they tied the knot in July 2010 in Italy.
The Edge of Tomorrow star chatted with DeGeneres about choosing her daughter's name, explaining, "I find it very stressful naming a human being." She went on to add that her husband found the name and they decided on it because "we both really like old lady names."
"He is the greatest dad," she added about Krasinski. "She loves him, just loves him."
Of Hazel, she said: "She’s just stinking cute. Yeah, she’s so cute. She came out like ready for a photo shoot. She was like… just perfect."
The actress, who looked beautiful in a blue-and-black patterned top and black pants, later discussed how she has dropped the weight post-baby.
"No, I don’t know if other mothers had this, but I have found breastfeeding to be the thing [to lose weight]," Blunt explained. "My boobs also thought I had 12 children… I found that because I managed to produce a lot of milk, I don't know why, it helped me lose the weight."
"I could have been the wet nurse in medieval times because I could have fed the village while they all went to work," she joked of her milk supply, adding that her breasts were like "two enormous heads."
