And baby makes three! Evan Ross opened up to Us Weekly exclusively about life with his pregnant wife, Ashlee Simpson, and the two stars' plans for their baby on the way.
The Hunger Games actor, 26, caught up with Us at the opening of STK Los Angeles at the W Los Angeles on Thursday, June 25. Ross has been busy promoting his new single "How To Live Alone" with T.I. but his schedule is just as packed back home as he and Simpson, 30, prepare for their first child together.
"We've got a baby on the way so there's gonna be a lot of surprises!" said Ross, who added that married life with Simpson is "amazing." "I'm just excited!"
The son of iconic singer Diana Ross, the ATL star said his "main goal" is to spoil his soon-to-be daughter. "I feel like she's gonna come into this world spoiled regardless between my family, my wife's family… they can't help it," he explained.
Simpson, who shares 6-year-old son Bronx with first husband Pete Wentz, married Ross in August 2014 and announced just four months later that she was pregnant. Jessica Simpson's little sister confirmed this past February that she is expecting a baby girl and explained that she wanted to know the sex of the baby so she can prepare.
"I like to know — I want to do the nursery," Simpson told reporters at the time. She added of little Bronx, "He wanted to have a sister, so he's really excited!"
"The nursery is done," Ross told Us. "The house is done. We've been in that process. It's a fun process. We get to be creative."
