Gisele Bundchen Didn't Wear Maternity Clothes

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen stayed so thin while pregnant with baby Benjamin, she didn't need to wear maternity clothes.
"I kept myself in good shape throughout the pregnancy, feeding on a healthy diet, meditating and doing exercises such as yoga and kung-fu," she told Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo Veja (as translated by New York magazine).

Continued Bundchen, 29, "I gained a little, but I kept using almost the same clothes, with minor adjustments to close in the belly."
Since welcoming her first child with husband Tom Brady, Bundchen admits, "I have not had time to return to exercise. In the first months it's all about the baby.

"But little by little I recovered the form," continues the mom -- who posed for Brazilian fashion line Colcci just six-and-a-half weeks after giving birth. "It helps that I have not gained much, have had natural childbirth and breastfeeding."

Bundchen also says she doesn't have any help raising her son, whom she gave birth to in a bathtub in Boston. (Brady is also dad to Jack, 2, with ex girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.)

"At the moment I have no nanny, but my mother stayed with me since before the birth of Benjamin," she says. "I could not ask God for better support than this."
Her only difficulty so far? Getting her beauty rest.
"I have not slept much. In these first months, the baby usually nurses every two hours or three hours," she says. "It is quite tiring, but it is such a special moment, I'm enjoying it the most. I have dedicated my time entirely to him."

some ppl are lucky esp for those who's tall like her. they didnt gain so much weight during pregnancy like my friend. she popped out her baby and her body return to her previous shape.

It's not only that she is thin, it's body type. I didn't wear them either-- and a nurse tried to kick me out of the maternity waiting room cause she didn't think I was preggo. Don't assume she didn't gain enough weight.
You guys are so jealous! No she is not poor, and no she is not short. Who would want to be? She's having a natural experience with her child (without a Nanny), and she had a good birth. My sister laughed and smiled all the way through her first birth, but the second was difficult... it just depend. Good for her that she stayed in shape and had a great experience! you don't have to be rich to do that!!

whatever gisele. must be nice to be rich we here in the REAL WORLD will never know. we deal with real life every single day while you go thru life with your empty head in the clouds with nannies to care for your kid.

who cares if she didn't wear maternity clothes? she also said labor wasn't painful. she is obviously not in her right mind. Bridget Moynahan is a REAL woman. wonder what will happen once Tom relaizes Gisele is an idiot, oh, he is too a perfect match. good thing Bridget got away when she did. Gisele, read a book please, you sound D-U-M-B EVERY time you speak.
What is wrong with this woman? I truly hope that other pregnant women do not read this as something that promotes DIETING or weight loss while pregnant or the perverse idea that gaining weight while pregnant is unnatural. She should be ashamed of the message she is sending. Hmmmm...maybe she and Tom should be a bit more concerned about the millions of women without access to healthcare/nutrition during pregnancy, rather than boasting G's ability to (unnaturally) avoid maternity clothes. I've never once posted a response to any message board, but this behavior rose to the level of eliciting my very first response.
