Hey, baby! Gwen Stefani was seeing blue (again!) when she celebrated her baby shower for her third child with a star-studded party on Saturday, Feb. 8. The No Doubt rocker was joined by Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie, and more as she played baby shower games and feasted at Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles.
“People cheered as soon as she walked in,” an insider tells Us Weekly of the festivities. The private room was decked out in light blues and bouquets of white hydrangeas, a banner that said “SWEET,” and “guests were greeted with glasses of red or white wine.”
Stefani, 44, arrived with Paltrow and looked beautiful in a leather sleeved jacket and black pants. She was also greeted by boldfaced names like Chelsea Handler, Rachel Zoe, Kate Beckinsale, and Tobey Maguire‘s wife, Jen Meyer.
Once inside, guests were treated to an afternoon lunch and those with a sweet tooth munched on candies, and donuts with light blue icing and white sprinkles. “Baby shower!!! #can’t believe im pregs thanku Shelli Azoff for a beautiful #girlyday =blessed,” Stefani wrote via Instagram, with a picture of the desserts. She also shared pictures of her piece of cake and the gorgeous flower centerpieces. As friends and family left, they also got to take home a goody bag that was decorated with polka dots and a bright green bow.
“There were lots of people laughing and it seemed like everyone was having a lot of fun,” the eyewitness tells Us. “It was very lively!”
Us confirmed last September that Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale, 48, are expecting their third child together. The couple is already parents to sons Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 5. On Jan. 17, the L.A.M.B. designer revealed she’s expecting another boy. “I was ready to hand over the crown,” she teased. “But I guess I am still queen of the house. #itsaboy #surroundedbyboys.”
