Heidi Klum "Excited" About Walking Runway – Five Weeks After Baby!

Heidi Klum, who was supposed to be acting as host of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, tells Usmagazine.com she was thrilled she actually got to walk down the runway Thursday night in New York City.

"I am excited," she told Us backstage shortly before walking out to cheers in a purple corset covered with a half gown with poufs of tulle. "I'm keeping it all together."

Just five weeks ago, Klum, 36, welcomed her fourth child, a girl named Lou, who is now in Los Angeles with the rest of her sibs (Klum's husband Seal is away in Australia performing).
"She's great," Klum told Us of her newborn. "I pre-pumped a lot of milk, left it in the freezer."
How has it been losing the baby weight?
"Every time it's the same," says Klum, who hopes to shed 20 more lbs. "You know, if you kind of gain 45 pounds, then it takes time to kind of go down again."

Former Project Runway champ Christian Siriano tells Us he is impressed with Klum's post-baby bod.
"She looked amazing!" he tells Us at an after-party at the Penthouse at Hotel on Rivington. "You're going to die. She looks -- oh my god! -- she looks so good!"
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show airs Dec. 1 at 10 p.m. on CBS.

39Now if she could walk down in a bikini after 5 weeks having a baby, now that is in impressive. Anything less than that isn't. Women - breastfeed. YOu burn 500 calories a day, now that is naturally losing weight. It worked for me. I dropped 51 lbs in 3 weeks and I only had to lose 35lbs. Now thats reality. It has nothing to do with genes and other crap.

Five weeks after giving birth?! Heidi's amazing! Amazingly blessed with great genes and a super smart business woman too. She has it all and makes it look easy.

JJ, no offense, but there's a little bit of a difference between you and me losing the baby weight after childbirth and being fit enough to walk a runway. How do you know that she's wearing Spanx?

I think she looks great, as always. and of course her body is covered up to hide the little imperfections, but she does look fantastic! also i enjoy hearing or reading about her, her hubby and family. They always seem so in love those two. So romantic, its wondeful

Um, she's wearing Spanx underneath there, which do WONDERS btw, and the rest of her is covered in tulle and fabric. Yeah. I lost all my baby weight and had a flat stomach three weeks after having my third child. Is she looking for a medal or something? Also kind of f'd up that she still wants to lose 20 lbs, I'd say 10 would be plenty.
PLEASE! Just because someone looks good after having a baby does not mean that they have had lipo or surgery! I have 4 kids and sure as hell can't afford that crap never mind the time or vanity to bother. I've always been back to pretty much the same size by the time my baby was 6 weeks old. My mother and all of my aunts were the same way, it's just luck! Some people go right back with little effort while others have to work hard. But that doesn't mean you should slam on them just because they look good, (or even if they don't) Why do woman always have to be so PETTY about other woman's looks! Geez get a life

Heidi is an intelligent business person, a beautiful woman and an incredible mother. I have the utmost respect for her and major kudo's to her for walkin' that runway !
I agree with Candy, she is basically wearing a dress here! She still looks fantastic and most of the models looked like lollipops and she's only probably a size 6 and still wants to lose weight!
