Forget mom jeans.

Heidi Klum tells UsMagazine.com her two maternity lines -- which hit stores Friday -- are super glam, and include "extravagant pieces, like... a glitter top and leather pants.

Can you guess the bundled up baby?

"I always felt like no one makes good pants for pregnant women," Klum, 36, told Us while hosting a baby shower at Destination Maternity in NYC Thursday. "They always have to wear the 'mommy jeans and they're never super tight or super hot. There are a lot of hot mamas out there, so why not give them something fun?"

Continues Klum, "I wanted to look real hard. I didn't want to just be sweet. I wanted to look cool and cutting edge a bit."

Lavish by Heidi Klum and Loved by Heidi Klum will be sold at A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity respectively. (Nicole Richie also designed a line for A Pea in the Pod.)

"Lavish is definitely a higher price point," explains Klum. "The woman who shops at A Pea and the Pod is a different woman than one who shops at Motherhood. The Pea and the Pod woman is... a working pregnant mom that goes to the office or goes to a lot of gallery events -- is a little more out and about.

"I think the Motherhood mother is maybe more casual, so I did more jeans and easier tops,” she goes on. "The price points are different because, you know, leather is more expensive than cotton. Not that they're both not stylish."

that's not true some women want to feel sexy no matter what but I can see where your coming from if there's a loss or loses in the past before a womans first successful pregnancy so don't jump to conclusions

550.00 for leather leggings? I mean really? Who the hell wants to wear leather leggings when they are pregnant? I can't help but to think Heidi thinks she was doing justice by designing a line for the motherhood maternity crowd: the ones with not so much money...ms klum has definitely lost some cool points with me lol

Ok, after looking up the "designs" on the respective websites, they are just as boring as everything before them. I was truly expecting something more from her.

Heidi's not the first celeb/model to think fitted clothing if done correctly accentuates the beauty of pregnancy the dress Joanne Woodward excepted her academy award in comes to mind as in if not for a miscarriage she'd have been about six months preggers the night she won best actress by the was her dress is fitted at the bust and bustles out at the hips into a mermaid skirt and by the way she wore 3" heals that night

Well, I went online and looked at Heidi's maternity line(s) - term used very loosely - and I must say I am not very impressed. The 'affordable' line that is offered by motherhood is really blah. The more 'high fasion' line offered by pea in the pod is much better. A few really nice pieces. However, $78 for a shirt? A maternity shirt? Hmm...I don't care who you are or how small or large you get while pregnant, I would not be wearing any of those clothes after I finished having a baby. Too rich for me, sorry, Heidi.
