Parenthood seems to be getting easier for Jen Schefft!
The former Bachelorette, 36, and her husband, Chicago-based businessman Joe Waterman, welcomed their second daughter, Charlotte Grace, on July 31. (Their newborn shares the same name as Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze, Jr.'s 2-year-old little girl!) The couple are also parents to daughter Mae, 20 months.
"We're all doing great over here! We are so excited to have two little girls," Schefft tells Us Weekly exclusively. "I love that they'll each grow up having a sister. Charlotte has been a great baby so far."
According to Schefft, her firstborn daughter is still getting used to the idea of being a big sister. "Mae is having a bit of a rough time adjusting. Every morning she sees the baby, she just kind of glares at her. I think she's wondering when the baby is leaving! She keeps grabbing the pacifier out of the baby's mouth and taking it for herself — and she is a thumb sucker!"
Schefft — who rose to fame when she won Andrew Firestone's heart on The Bachelor in 2003 — added that "it's getting better every day" between Mae and Charlotte. "I think they'll be best friends in no time," she told Us.
Schefft and Waterman met on a blind date in 2008. They tied the knot in May 2009.
