Jenna Dewan Tatum is loving motherhood! The Witches of East End star, who spoke with Us Weekly at the Maybelline New York and Daily Front Row Luncheon in Hollywood, gushed over her 9-month-old baby girl Everly and how giving birth has changed her life with husband Channing Tatum.

"It's been a great perspective change," she told Us Tuesday, Feb. 25. "The things that used to maybe worry [me]…[were] replaced by just caring and being there for this little baby." 33-year-old Dewan said previous stress factors before Everly's birth were largely work-related, and became "completely nonexistent" once she welcomed her daughter in May 2013.

"You really get a lot pickier abut the sort of projects and even the opportunities that come your way," she said of being a working mom. "For me I've been really lucky because even though I'm working a lot, I'm able to bring her everywhere," she added. "She comes on set with me every day." The tot's latest milestones include "sort of scooting while standing" and talking. "She says, 'dada' and 'mama,'" Tatum revealed.

So how's "dada" doing? Parenthood has had a positive affect on the couple's marriage of nearly 5 years. "As a whole, it just forces you to become a little closer, because you have to be on the same page with everything when it comes to making decisions," she explained. "It's just like everything else. You give it like, 'Okay, I have this luncheon today, so you watch Everly and I have this dinner.' You just become way better at planning!"

Keeping their sexy romance alive, the couple also cherishes their alone time away from the hullabaloo of home. "We make sure we get good date nights," Dewan confessed. "You've got to get out and be around adults," she said joking, "and not be speaking in a baby voice all day long — just for your own sanity!"

For the Tatums, date nights usually include dinner, wine, hanging out with pals, and the occasional night out dancing. "We generally dance when we go out of town," Dewan said. (The couple, who first met on the set of Step Up back in 2006, showed off their sexy moves in Miami last month.)

Looking amazing in lace shorts, a loose silk top, and matching white boyfriend blazer, Dewan paired her outfit with three delicate gold necklaces — two that said "Everly" and one that read "mommy." An eyewitness at the luncheon told Us, "She was in great shape and seemed really happy."

As previously reported, Dewan reclaimed her petite pre-pregnancy body in just 7 weeks after giving birth. "I'm still breastfeeding," she told Us Tuesday. "It's kind of the most amazing thing in the world because you're giving your baby so much nutrition, but you burn so many extra calories a day!" Along with working out with a trainer, "chasing around Everly and holding her all day long" are also factors that have helped Dewan maintain her slim size 0 figure.

"I do want to have more kids if it's in the cards for us," Dewan confessed. "But right now we're trying to get into the groove and enjoy our little baby that we have now. We'll see what the future has in store for us!"
