Mother-daughter date! Jennifer Garner spent some quality time with her daughter Violet on Monday, Jan. 19.

The Danny Collins actress, 42, hit the Staples Center in Los Angeles with her eldest child by her side. Accompanied by another little girl, Garner and Violet, 9, watched the L.A. Clippers take on the Boston Celtics.

With no sight of father Ben Affleck, or the couple's two other children, daughter Seraphina, 6, and son Samuel, 2, the mother-daughter pair sat courtside and dined on slices of cheesy pizza as the Clippers came out on top by a score of 102 to 93.

Garner looked casually chic at the basketball game, sporting a textured blazer over a black-and-white striped top, paired with relaxed jeans tucked into gray ankle boots. Her little girl, who is now in elementary school, supported the home team in an oversized Clippers shirt over a denim jacket with a gray skirt.

Violet was born just months after the Draft Day star married Affleck, 42. The two actors exchanged vows in June 2005 when Garner was pregnant with the couple's first child, and Violet was born that December.

The busy star has spoken about the balancing act of juggling her career and motherhood in the past.

"I have this internal battle between, I need to work, I need to work, I need to work and I need to be home with my kids. And the kids win," she told W magazine in 2009. "[It's] getting the kids up and fed, getting one to school, getting the other down for a nap, going to the grocery store, picking one up from school, getting the other one down for another nap, cooking dinner... I live my life at these two extremes. I'm either a full-time stay-at-home mom or a full-time actress."
