Jessica Alba knows the ease of slipping into a LBD, but the actress admits that motherhood has caused her to rethink her wardrobe choices -- but not for the post-pregnancy reasons fans may suspect.

"I didn't use to wear a lot of color. I guess I've been more adventurous with my style and clothes since I've become a mother," Alba, mom to Honor Marie, 3, and Haven, 6 months, tells March's Los Angeles Confidential magazine. "When I was younger, I was really uncomfortable in dresses and high heels. Over the years, I've embraced a more feminine side."

Without a doubt, Alba, 30, (married to Cash Warren), is consistently on-trend from rocking sky-high heels during her third trimester to stepping out in this vibrant Michael Kors sheath during New York Fashion Week earlier this month.
