Less than one week after suffering a devastating miscarriage, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar will remember their baby — whom they posthumously named Jubilee Shalom Duggar — in a Wednesday memorial service.
A rep for TLC confirms that the family — who is featured on the reality hit 19 Kids and Counting — also grieved Jubilee's death in private service Sunday evening.
"On behalf of the whole Duggar Family we would like to thank everyone for their prayers, emails and outpouring of love," Jim Bob and Michelle wrote on their Web site.
The expectant parents learned the sad news that their unborn baby no longer had a heartbeat during a December 8 routine doctor's appointment.
Based in Tontitown, Ark., the Duggars are already parents to Joshua, 23 (who is married with two kids of his own), twins Jana and John-David, 21; Jill, 20; Jessa, 19; Jinger, 17; Joseph, 16; Josiah, 15; Joy-Anna, 14; twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 12; Jason, 11; James, 10; Justin, 8; Jackson, 7; Johanna, 6; Jennifer, 4; and Jordyn, 3, and Josie, almost 2.
"As our whole family is grieving, we also know that God promises to work all things for good in our lives," their statement continued. "We rest in knowing, that even though our child has departed this life that we will one day see each other again in heaven."
