Johnny Depp is hard to resist. So, it's no wonder his longtime girlfriend, Vanessa Paradis, couldn't resist having the star's children.

"I'd wanted to be a mother for a long time, but with him I couldn’t avoid it," the French singer, 37, reveals in a new interview with the U.K.'s Sunday Times Magazine. "He was, and still is, the love of my life."

Paradis has dated the Pirates of the Caribbean star, 46, for 11 years, and they have two children, Lily Rose, 10, and Jack, 7.
How do they make their relationship last?
"There is a lot of friendship between us, respect and admiration," she says. "We've understood that if we want it to carry on working, it’s essential to give each other space. You don’t eat the same food every day, you don’t read the same book or listen to the same record over and over again. You have to discover things for yourself."

She says that Depp is a wonderful dad.
"I could go on and on about all the things I admire in him," she says. "I like watching him when he’s thinking, when he’s talking with people. I like seeing how he handles situations. I admire him as an actor, as a father, as a man. Above all, I admire the person he is. He’s fantastic.”

I know it's now July but Vanessa Paradis has started this up again for the past couple of weeks and has so many stories on how their relationship is just "wonderful", but really, if it's that wonderful why even mention it? Everybody knows that when celebrity couples start to talk about their relationship to the press it means that it's ending. The newest one is how she talks about how distance is great for their relationship. Ok, so clue number two...distance? She goes on to brag about their relationship and then says that distance between them is very good. Hmm...I think they're splitting up.
There is one thing I don't understand about all that why after 11 years is she just now speaking to the public about her love for him and how wonderful he is I don't get that he's always talking about her and their kids she never does until now. I'm sorry I've always thought he was wonderful inside and out if I was in her shoes I would have been talking about how much I loved him and admired every chance I got. Oh well I guess that's her but anyways Johnny is a wonderful person inside she is very lucky to have him, and as far as looking like a homeless guy Johnny just likes to look unique , but I'm sure if he read that he would get a good laugh out of that. I would be cautious if I were Vanessa Paradis, with her commands to Johnny that he leave the Tourist film. This will only become a challenge for devil woman Jolie, to see if she can break up this relationship too! And Jolie likes a challenge, don't we know.

Definitely an open relationship. "Don't eat the same food everyday" And why would the word "was" even come into play when she said" He was and still is the love of my life. Something's going on. You never see them together anymore. They used to be inseperable, even with their schedules. Something has definitely changed in the last year or so. Absolutely an open relationship. And as for the person who said they put their children first. Hell, their never with them. Last week she was in Shangai and he was in Serbia. I think the wealth is going to his head. He's changed.

whatever makes them happy and kids certainly make Johnny so very happy. I don't know, but Vanessa scares me when she smiles and without make up. As long as she has a closed mouth smile and make up on, she is very good looking. Otherwise, after Johnny started the relationship... he looks like a homeless guy... can i clean him up? very desirable then! but if they are in love... thumbs up... no marriage? thumbs down
I really admire this couple for alot of reasons- one, most important reason is that even though they are a famous celeb couple, they keep and maintain privacy for their children- you rarely if ever see their children papped- that right there is alot to admire in my view, they undoubtedly put thier childrens' needs first unlike soooo many other celebs who think nothing of shoving their children in front of the cameras and exploiting them-i.e., the beckhams', the crusises and so many others. Really admire Johnny Depp & Vanessa Paradis.

Johnny wouldnt have a second thought of leaving this woman for Angie once he lays eyes on her on the first day of the film shooting. After all, Angie is the most beautiful and desirable woman on earth that any man (or any hunk for that matter) can't resist. No woman is in the same level of Angie in the beauty, sexiness, and hotness department (btw, fans go crazy on the article of Megan Fox's Armani ad).
All I can say is i'm speechless and happy for her, them as a family...wow if it was like that for us all. If only!!!

Oh my Lord. If i could be her for a day. i would be forever thankful. Johnny Depp is the most beautiful, insightful, wonderful man from my viewpoint. if i could experience what he was like up close, oh me. I'd have truly lived :)

Does anyone in Hollywood get married anymore before they get pregnant? That's a poor excuse to keep your man close. I hope young women today are a lot smarter and parents should explain the Hollywood groupies are the exception and not the rule. Wake up girls.
