Kate Gosselin blogs that she's more like a referee than a mom because her eight kids can get so out of control.

After describing fights over the bathroom, who's staring at whom and the kids smacking each other, she writes, "Help! Where is my referee uniform???? Honestly, this is every minute of every day in my house with eight kids!!"
"OK, I'll admit it. There are the sweet moments of love and compassion to balance these never-ending stressful encounters, but for some reason, these unloving loud outbursts are what I tend to remember," adds Gosselin, 35, who split from her husband Jon, 33, after 10 years of marriage last summer.

How does she stop the bickering?
"I'm to the point where I hold up my hand and say, 'I'm not the complaint department, and I don't like how black and white stripes look on me, so go work it out. If you can't, I'll help you.' And I leave it to them," write Gosselin of her kids, who, Us Weekly has reported, are mostly raised by nannies.
She says she spends time "mentally devising" how she'll deal with her sextuplets -- who just turned 6 -- and twins before "the next time I hear the stampede of unrest coming my way."
Sometimes, she considers "running in the other direction and hiding," she admits of the "emotionally tiring and time consuming" task of raising children.

"And I have a feeling there are many more jungle outbursts to be handled," she says. "Help me!!!!!!!!"
Her next reprieve is the May 24 and 25 finale of Dancing With the Stars, when she'll leave her kids at their $1.1 million Pennsylvania home and return to Los Angeles.

Oh Please. Spare me. The slant at US is getting worse than the so-called headlines at Faux News these days. There is NOTHING in Kate Gosselin's blog entry that most normal moms haven't felt at some time or another- and certainly nothing to make headlines. How are her kids "out of control?" Those are US's words, not Gosselin's. The only thing Kate Gosselin is guilty of is being white and raising kids that look like Janice Min, who clearly has some sort of Jesus complex and thinks she's saving them by destroying their parents. And she's doing quite well, considering how many dumb sheep are following along with nary a critical thought in their tiny collective brain. I love the dig at the end about how she's leaving them in their mansion to go on DWTS. As a working mom that doesn't live in a mansion, I find that personally offensive. So if you have to go away on business you're a bad mom now? So much for sisterhood. This magazine used to be fun but now its just one more rancid tabloid t*rd. Good job, Janice!

Dedicated to our wonderful MOTHER WHO WE LOVE SO VERY MUCH. I skimmed through this book that my mother wrote so many years ago and I am glad for the minutes of my time I spent doing so. The benefit is that I spent some time afterward reflecting on how glad I am that my parents loved us kids and therefore would alowed us to live better lives than we would have had. I know that my parents had such wonderful fans and support. To me I am glad that they give my mother such admiration. Our mother is a woman who was a struggling single mother after our father left. While before getting plenty of help from a full and wonderful staff of nannies to be with us and to protect us for the evil people of this world when she couldn't be with us. And that thanks to her corporate sponsors and the millions she and us kids have made to live as normal lives as we could, being so many to take care of. She is hardly struggling single mother as she once was. We try to take care of her as good as she did us. My mother was a single struggling mother who worked to have custom-built playhouses in our yard so we could play and have fun like other kids.She worked to pay a huge house payments so we could have a dicent and safe place to live.. We kids are for ever greatful and got her her own hair and make-up artist on staff, who have hair extensions so that the evil haters would leave her alone but they never did. She made sure that we had groceries so we had food to eat. The list goes on and on and on of the wonderful things our mother did for us.... I feel very glad for us kids that we had a mom like we did. Now that we are adults, fully cognizant that our mother was as interested in being our mother as she was interested in the things that we did and have become. She was and is a grateful and faith-filled mother who only wants the best for her children and was willling to sacrifice to make that happen." Yes, it was a really difficult sacrifice for her to demand we re-enact Christmas morning for the camera crew. My mother worked to coach us on lines to say for the cameras when sometimes we didn't want to behave. We knew it wasn't Christmas but we were little and we didn't really understand that this was the best way to get our reaction. I'm sure it was really difficult for her to spank us when we were bad and didn't want to behave. We didn't realize then that it hurt her so.But thanks to her we kids are the better for it and have her to thank for making our lives so muuch better. We loved it on that school break when we were out of school so she could take us to California when she was on DWTS. We were so proud of her on this show. I'm sure it was difficult for Mom to have the press say such hateful things about her and accuse her of things she didn't do or say. She held her head up high and took that high road when she was so tired that she could hardly go on. The press and her haters hounded and stalking her and us kids every day of our lives. We loved to play in the drive way with our toys we had to share. They were always some haters and stalkers there some where. They lacked the empathy and intelligence to understand that she was doing the best for her children and how she sacrificing to make that happen.She did the best for the kids and made actual sacrifices, not demanding her children make sacrifices in order to do the best for us. This book is a wonderful sacrrifice of our mother's motherhood and what she did for us. If you consider buying it as a Mother's Day gift I am sure it will make a wonderful present. Or if you had rather instead donating the cost of the book to a local women and family shelter or some other worthy organization that helps real "struggling single mothers like our mother" who really want the best for their children and are having a little difficulty providing for them. After all we Gosselin kids really appreaciate the support you have shown our mother over the years. this book is our gift for our mom of our childhood and the times that we had. Thank you so much for you love and support. With out a mother like we had what would our worlds have been? Thank You sooooo very much our mother, Kate Gosselin.

What loving mother BASHES her own kids in a public blog? What a horrible, horrible woman!! I could never imagine saying anything near what this woman blabs on about, and I have six children of my own!!! (including my own multiples!) And this behavior is disturbing! It tells me those kids miss their mom and probably dad and she needs to focus on them and stop spending time complaining about them. She made the bed...she needs to lie in it. Sounds like she is angling for yet - another tv show to exploit her precious children. Poor little, innocent children. What an EVIL woman! :*(

May, Thank you for your wise post. I couldn't figure out why I was drawn back after losing interest long ago to news about Kate, and then reading all this crazy, negative stuff people are writing. Then I saw your post and was so glad to find such a bright spot. Beautiful.
