Kelly Clarkson's husband Brandon Blackstock posed with their daughter River Rose at the April 15 Stanley Cup final game between the Nashville Predators and Chicago Blackhawks.

Rooting for the home team! The Nashville Predators may have lost to the Chicago Blackhawks in the opening night of the Stanley Cup playoffs, but Kelly Clarkson enjoyed the game just the same. After all, April 15's matchup at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena marked a major milestone for her 10-month-old daughter, River: her first sporting event!

Documenting her night out with River and hubby Brandon Blackstock via Instagram, proud mama Clarkson couldn't help but note (along with Us Weekly!) just how adorable her daughter looked in the stands. "River's first sporting event! She's so excited," Clarkson, 32, captioned a photo of her super-smiley little one, clad in a pink sweater and purple floral print pants.

Later, Blackstock bonded with his daughter for a photo op that would make the NHL proud. "River and daddy hanging at the game," Clarkson wrote along with a sweet snap of River suited up in a kid-sized Predators jersey.

At not even a year old, River Rose is already proving to be one of the coolest kids on the block. Prior to rooting for the Preds in Nashville, Clarkson's baby joined the "Stronger" singer in Montreal, visited the American Idol set, and enjoyed hang time with none other than Jimmy Fallon.

As Clarkson wrote about her daughter on one adorable Instagram snap prior to her Tonight Show appearance with Fallon: "There's no way you're ready for this amount of awesome."
