It’s a boy! Laguna Beach alum Alex Murrel is pregnant and expecting her first child with her husband, Kyle Mark Johnson. The former reality star announced the happy news via Instagram on January 17.
“It’s a ….. BOY 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 Can’t wait to meet our lil guy 👶@kylemarkjohnson! Thanks to my seeeeester for making this so much fun for us @giggles_n_glitter 💙,” the photographer captioned a seriously cute Instagram video of herself slicing a gender-reveal cake. In the video, the couple’s friends can be heard cheering in the background at the sight of the blue icing.
“It’s a boy!! One of the best days of my life! See you soon #littlebuddy @alexmurrel,” Johnson captioned his own snap from the big day.
The couple tied the knot in October 2014 at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California, in a gorgeous outdoor wedding. Murrel, who was known as Kristin Cavallari’s pal “Alex M.” on the MTV series, stunned in a fitted white gown with a plunging lace neckline. Among her bridesmaids were Laguna Beach costars Taylor Cole and Alex Hooser.
Murrel and Johnson got engaged during a trip to Thailand in July 2013.
