Mama Leighton is back! Leighton Meester has finally resurfaced following the recent birth of her baby daughter, Arlo Day. The By the Gun actress enjoyed a girls’ night with some of her close pals on Thursday, Nov. 19.
“Rg girls’ night – thanks for the group shot @coopwilson,” Meester, 29, captioned an Instagram photo. The Gossip Girl alum went makeup-free and wore jeans and a beige sweater.
Us Weekly broke the news in late September that Leighton and her husband, Adam Brody, welcomed their first child together on Aug. 4. The couple first met on set of 2011’s The Oranges, and secretly tied the knot in February 2014.
Last year, Meester opened up about starting a family. “Most people I know are starting to get married. It’ll be kids next. I like the grown-up stuff. I like having a house. I’ve got dogs,” she told Nylon magazine in October 2014.
Brody, 35, meanwhile, joked that he wants a dozen kids. “I say twelve,” he said during a Reddit Q&A in August 2014. “And I decide!”
