Keeping it real … real responsible! Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout has proven herself to be one of the MTV reality series’ most put-together parents. She has raised her son Bentley, 6, in a loving environment, despite often butting heads with his dad and her ex Ryan Edwards. (Not to mention she's managed to avoid arrest, jail time, and excessive drug use.)
And now the college grad, 23, is preparing to welcome her second child, a baby girl, in June, this time with her live-in love Taylor McKinney. On Tuesday, April 7, the redhead shared a rare Instagram of her growing baby bump, with an important message to go along with it.
“This is for everyone that has been asking for a belly pic!” she captioned the shot of herself wearing a blue tank top with a gray printed sweater. “This pregnancy is so different than my first one! This time around, I'm prepared to take on the added responsibility, and I'm confident in my parenting abilities. I can't stress enough how important it is to wait until you're ready to have children. Bookout tagged The Candie’s Foundation, which is dedicated to raising awareness about teen pregnancy. Back in May 2014, Bookout was honored, along with former Bachelor Sean Lowe and actress Vanessa Hudgens for her efforts on behalf of the cause.
Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry has also worked with the organization and was quoted on the Instagram page as saying, “I have always said that if I could help one person make better choices than I did, then my job was done.”
