One day after Malin Akerman exclusively shared the news of her pregnancy with Us Weekly, the Wanderlust star showed off her tiny baby bump at the Environmental Media Awards in Burbank, California, September 29.
Wearing an Alexx Jae & Milk dress, Akerman looked radiant as she posed for photographers on the red carpet. This will be the first child for Akerman and her husband of five years, Roberto Zincone — the drummer in her former alternative rock band The Petalstones.
"I'm about three months now," Akerman told Us on the red carpet. "It's just the beginning!"
The 34-year-old actress — whose hit films include The Proposal, Rock of Ages and The Heartbreak Kid — admitted that she's been craving "the most random things — fries and grilled cheese sandwiches, and everything that's bad for you. But it tastes so good!"
Akerman revealed that her pregnancy "was kind of planned," explaining, "We took the goalie out of the net and said, 'Let's see what happens.' Because you never know how long it's going to take. We got lucky."
For the time being, Akerman and her husband are enjoying the early stages of her pregnancy. "It's just been so new and early, we haven't even thought about a baby’s room or anything," the Watchmen actress told Us.
