Nascar's Jeff Gordon Welcomes Baby Leo Benjamin

It's a boy!

Nascar racer Jeff Gordon and his wife Ingrid Vandebosch, both 39, welcomed their second child Monday morning, he announced on his website.

"Leo Benjamin Gordon was born at 8:53 a.m., weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 19 inches long," read a statement.

"He's happy and healthy, and mom is doing great," Gordon said of the new addition. Daughter Ella Sofia is 3.

The couple wed in a small, private ceremony in Mexico on Nov. 7, 2006.

Gordon is still scheduled to compete in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race in Michigan later this week.
