Black Swan's duckling has hatched!

Natalie Portman gave birth to a baby boy, a source confirms to Us Weekly. It's the first child for the actress, 30, and fiance Benjamin Millepied.

Portman and French-born ballet star Millepied, 33, met and fell in love on the set of Black Swan, in which he served as choreographer and co-star.

"It was seductive to watch them," a set source told Us of the stunning pair. "There was no way the attraction could be missed. I don't think he could help himself -- she's dazzling!"

To the surprise of fans everywhere, Portman announced her pregnancy and engagement in late December of last year -- and showed off her engagement ring and growing baby bump throughout the 2011 awards show season.

And, as Oscar buzz heated up over her intense performance as tormented, obsessed ballerina Nina in Black Swan, the often-private star (whose ex beaus include folk singer Devendra Banhart, SNL's Andy Samberg and Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal) opened up about her impending motherhood -- and her hubby-to-be.

Nabbing the Best Actress in a Drama award at the Jan. 16 Golden Globes, she joked that Millepied played a dancer who "wouldn't sleep" with her Black Swan character. "It's not true!" she said, laughing. "He totally wants to sleep with me!"

Accepting her Best Actress trophy at the Academy Awards February 27, Portman wept tears of joy as she thanked "my beautiful love." who helped escort her to the podium. "[He] has now given me my most important role of my life," she said.

After that triumphant night, the happy couple retreated to the Napa Valley for a romantic "babymoon" in California wine country. "They were really low-key," a witness told Us.

Portman's impending motherhood also inspired her to break from her famously strict vegan diet. "I actually went back to being vegetarian when I became pregnant, just because I felt like I wanted that stuff," she said during an April radio interview. "I was listening to my body to have eggs and dairy and that sort of stuff."

After the April premiere of Portman's smash Thor (she also scored a hit with January's comedy No Strings Attached) the Harvard grad and Millepied laid low -- with her faithful pooch, Whiz! -- in NYC as she waited out her third trimester.

"One of the most exciting things about being pregnant is that I'm accepting the complete unknown. It's a complete mystery and miracle," Portman (who made her film debut at age 11 in The Professional) told reporters in February. "It's really just accepting that I have no idea, which is what all of us live every day."

@Lisa Daily Gregory naming a kid swan would be stupid though naming them after alitterary or film Charecter is pretty common as for example Olympic Volleyball Player Kerri Walsh named her second son Sundance after the movie Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid or Melissa Newman is named after the orphan girl in the film Count Three & Pray which was played by her mother Joanne Woodward who just two films later won the best actress oscar hard earned unlike Natalie who stole it
