New mom Bethenny Frankel doesn't exactly miss the pains and pangs of expectant motherhood.
"I'm just happy I'm not pregnant now!" Frankel, 39, told UsMagazine.com at Friday's Opening Day of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge in Bridgehampton, NY. The Bravo reality star welcomed Bryn, her daughter with hubby Jason Hoppy, on May 8.
"I'm so lucky to have a beautiful, healthy baby," she gushed. (Just three weeks after Bryn's birth, the Real Housewives of New York and Bethenny Getting Married? star healthily shed 29 pounds of baby weight.)
Her daughter, she says, is "great" with lots of new milestones each day. "She started smiling all the time," Frankel said. "She's started grabbing my hair! She just grabs it with her little fists." But the chef and cookbook author doesn't mind the playful tugs. "It makes me feel like she needs me."
And the new mom says she's adjusting to life as a mom "as much as you ever can. Every minute of every day is about the baby, so it is an adjustment, but I'm so happy."
She added that little Bryn has a "wonderful" personality.
