Where's baby Bingham?
Kate Hudson, Matt Bellamy and Hudson's son Ryder enjoyed a family lunch on Friday in Brentwood, Calif. Just six days after giving birth to her son Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy, the new mom looked relaxed and at ease in a loose floral dress and flip-flops.
According to the Muse frontman's Twitter, Hudson, 32, was "a warrior" and delivered baby Bing on July 9 after "4.5 hours of intense pushing."
So why did Hudson and her fiance Bellamy, 33, choose the unique moniker for their first son together? "Bingham is my mum's maiden name," Bellamy explained of his mother Marilyn. "Bing Russell was also Kurt [Russell's] dad. Family connections all around!"
Although the Something Borrowed star's biological father is Bill Hudson, she considers Russell, 60, to be her father. (The actor has been Goldie Hawn's partner for 28 years, although they have never wed.) The tot's full name — Bingham "Bing" Hawn — also pays homage to Hudson's mom, 65.
Hudson's son Ryder, 7, is from her relationship with ex-hubby Chris Robinson.
