Olivia Wilde is well and truly on the #brelfie bandwagon! The stunning actress posted an empowering picture of herself breast-feeding her newborn daughter, Daisy, to Instagram on Monday, October 24.
The mom-of-two proudly snapped the intimate moment between her and her 2-week-old baby, and captioned the cute shot: “My drinking buddy.”
Wilde, 32, was wearing a T-shirt with the message “never underestimate the power of a woman” emblazoned on it.
The photo was immediately met with plenty of praise from her fans who wrote comments like: “Thank you for showing the world that breastfeeding is the most natural, amazing and beautiful connection between a mother and a baby!” and “beautiful.”
As Us Weekly previously reported, Wilde and her fiancé, Jason Sudeikis, welcomed Daisy on October 11.
She shared a photo of her bundle of joy on social media a few days later and wrote: “There goes the neighborhood. Daisy Josephine Sudeikis. Born, like a boss, on #internationaldayofthegirl.”
The pair are parents of 2-year-old Otis too, and she posed with him for a high-fashion breast-feeding cover shoot for Glamour magazine’s September 2014 issue.
She is among a host of other celebrities who promote breastfeeding, including Jaime King, Miranda Kerr and Gisele Bundchen.
