Padma Lakshmi Debuts Baby Daughter

Padma Lakshmi has debuted her 3-week-old daughter Krishna.
On Thursday, the Top Chef host, 39, was photographed doting on her little girl on a NYC park bench.

Lakshmi has not identified her daughter's father.
UsMagazine.com first broke news that Lakshmi was expecting last October. The pregnancy was considered "a medical miracle," her rep told Us, because Lakshmi has struggled with endometriosis, a painful uterine condition that can lead to infertility.

Lakshmi told Us she loved being pregnant -- but never had any strange cravings.

"There was about a week-and-a- half when I was really craving a cinnamon donut," she said. "Then I had the cinnamon donut, and it was like, 'Eh.' I mean, it was OK, but that was it. And then it was over."

Padma is a gold-digger. The dad is the brother of the founder of DELL computers. Of course, the brother is an exec. at DELL, as well. Looks like she is into white guys lately. The last guy she was with, was a Euopean, white guy in his mid 60's who was a billionaire. Gross!
Refusing to mention the father doesn't mean he ISN'T present in the baby's life. Must be so hard to see the view from your high horses.

Who says that the father of the child is not in her life? Perhaps he just choses to remain out of the spotlight. Doesn't mean he's not there for the child and for Lakshmi.

Yeah, there are alot of women out there who don't care about the needs of their kid either and just get pregnant and wind up having their nanny shouldering most of the work. The optimum situation has both a mom and a dad or else we'd have a world full of people who made self-indulgent decisions all the time and always wondered why that person hated them or if these pants made them look fat. In other words, the mix works best. That's why kids need both...for heaven's sake, Mommy is great but Daddy is great too.
True, the name Krishna is predominantly used as a male name, however it can also be used as a female name. Baby looks so cute.

Krishna is adorable and yes she is a medical miracle considering where Padma came from after years suffering with endometriosis Krishna reminds me of an indian version of Tessa Dahl as a baby the only difference being her mother is a bigger star than padma ever was as she was an academy award winning actress granted she won the oscar when Tessa was 7 years old in April 1964 while expecting daughter ophelia
