Sarah Michelle Gellar was photographed with her daughter Charlotte for the first time Thursday in Santa Monica, Calif.
Carrying her close in a sling, she kept her 3-month-old girl bundled up in a pink blanket.

The girl, born Sept. 19, is the first child for Gellar, 32, and her husband of seven years, actor Freddie Prinze Jr, 33.
Her former Buffy the Vampire Slayer costar Michelle Trachtenberg told UsMagazine.com the actress will "make a great mommy."
"They're going to be extraordinary parents," she said.
Gellar recently filmed the HBO pilot The Wonderful Maladays.

Cute pic. I'm curious to know what the baby looks like....sure she's gorgeous, how could she not be with such beautiful parents...I don't blame her for keeping the the baby's face concealed....all the photographers around....I'm sure she will show everyone when she is comfortable doing so..

I like how Sarah and Freddie did not sell pictures of thier baby to magazines or flash her around to be photographed every other day like so many other "Hollywood Parents" do. Its great to see that they really have their daughter's best interest in mind. They seem like great parents!

Natalie, Ohio...the baby carrier is a BabyBjorn, I tried it with my children and they just didn't seem comfortable. The NewNative baby carrier is awesome though if you're looking for a sling...

She looks extremely happy. It is so great to see a mature, married, settled mother...Charlotte is a very lucky baby to have 2 wonderful, loving & ready parents.
For the first time? Really? You're SUUUUURE about that? The first time EVER - In 3 1/2 months, right? Not Turkey Day....Not Christmas Eve....No visits to the Grandparents, or to a grocery story..... So it's such a miracle that The Prinze Family got from NYC to LA .... So glad US Weekly doesn't employ Morons..
