Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 3, sported a skull cap and toy gun holster as she got into a water taxi in Venice, Italy, with parents Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt over the weekend.

A source tells UsMagazine.com Shiloh picks out most of duds and accessories, which have included a toy sword. (See more photos of the Pitt-Jolie brood in Venice at PopSugar.com!)

PHOTOS: How Shiloh's style has evolved

Though her tomboy style has turned heads, experts say Jolie, 34, and Pitt, 46, have nothing to worry about. "It's quite healthy, as she is learning to make choices and think independently," says Manhattan psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert, who writes a column in Metro newspaper called "No More Drama."

Shiloh isn't the only Jolie-Pitt child to have an interest in weapons.

In the November 2008 issue W magazine, Jolie - who was involved in self-mutilation when she was still a teenager - said she bought her then-7-year-old son Maddox knives.

"My mom took me to buy my first daggers when I was 11 or 12," Jolie said. "And I've already bought Maddox some."

Who really cares what she wears, she is a child for goodness sake and she is allowed to wear what she wants, which I think is wonderful. Good parents should let their children decide what they want to wear, as it gives the children Self Esteem and Independent. You Go Brad and Angelina, keep up the good work with raising your kids!!!

totally agree with 'Jess' her 'mom' is an actress and she sees her mom doing all these things and she sees things no one else does...so, she is going to experiment with alot of things, she's growing! adorably so!! Brad makes good babies! now, if her mom would just get some mental help, all would be good

Shiloh is beutiful and just becomes she's dressing like a boy does not mean she is going to be like Chasity Bono. She's a normal child just because she's a celebrity child don't mean she can't be a tomboy and has to be girly. At least it shows she's a normal child and he parents are not making her out to be a clone of what the papz want. Look at Suri she dresses how she wants because thats what she likes. Different children like different things just leave them be.

Her Mother is always toting guns and swords and knives in her movies.

Funny these people never live the lifestyle they preach and Pitts big phony project in NOLA , not with his money . They don't love they're children enough to make them legal . All of them illegimate out of wedlock . I'm sick of these phony people ! Misguided .

yup, ive seen entire articles with evidence showing that they hate angelina- its so funny to see!! . . . especially because theyre making me like her even more with every stupid fawning story they do about jennifer aniston wearing a miniskirt!! lol

I love how you spinned Jolie's words in the W article to make it look like she's giving Pax weapons to mutilate himself. Us is a real piece of work!!

Wow I had one of those when I was little. Don't know what the big deal is, most all kids do. Only making an issue about it because she's Angelina Jolie's kid. Nothing would be said if it was just average Joe's daughter.

Angelina was tomboy as a little girl, she turned to be a beautiful woman and mother. I think she let her children chose their cloths. Othersign of a good mother. Bravo Angie.

aww, makes me remember my youth. I had one just like it along with my beloved brother. He passed away when he was 7 and I was 6. Oh, we had great times and I was such a tom-boy. Loved my tonka toys too.

Seriously, Amy, I hope you DON'T have kids! Do you repeat yourself at home too? Damn.

i was the biggest girly-girl in history, but i have tons of super feminine girl friends now who were tomboys when they were little! it has nothing to do with how you will turn out, and i think its great that such a young kid has such character and spunk!

I wore boys clothes until I was 11 years old because I hated girly colors and dresses, and I liked dinosaurs, stars, and dirt. So what if she's gay? So what if she's straight but hates jewelry and dresses? People who think Brad and Angie force her to dress like a boy probably also think the government should stay out of Medicare and that Glen Beck is an actual journalist (eye roll).

Seriously people. You can tell which of you have kids and which don't. You pick your battles and just because they are raising a strong-willed, independant-thinking child does not make them bad parents or her spoiled. I applaud them trying to raise their children as "normal" as possible in their high profile world.

Boy, is she cute! I would love to see her dressed a little more "girly" ( a skull skullcap?) but I know I would have loved that holster when I was a kid, too. I turned out well; I'm quite a peaceful soul.

the clan is missing a gay kid; they have most colours of the rainbow except red so add a gay kid (they are dressing her like a boy now the gun) and they have the politically correct family that we should all admire...(barf) welcome Chastity Bono clone
