Morning sickness doesn’t strike only in the a.m. Just ask Molly Sims. “I actually vomited last night on the Long Island Expressway next to a homeless man,” Sims told Us Weekly at the Nature’s Bounty beauty event in New York City on Thursday, September 8. “I had to pull over at a gas station off the highway and I was vomiting … I’ve had a really hard pregnancy.”
But it will be over soon enough. Sims, 43, and her husband, Scott Stuber, are expecting their third child in December. The former model and film producer, 47, are already parents of son Brooks, 4, and daughter Scarlett, 17 months.
Sims and Stuber hadn’t been planning to expand their family. But one day when Sims wasn’t feeling well, she decided to take a pregnancy test left over from when she was trying for Scarlett. “I literally did a triple take … then I took five more tests,” she told Us. “That’s what happens when you go visit your husband on a movie set!”
With just a few months until No. 3 makes his or her arrival, the couple are mulling over baby names. “For a girl, I love James. I love Sophia. I love Finley,” says the star, who doesn’t yet know the sex of the baby. “Hopefully we’re going to find out. I can’t take it any longer!”
Sims told Us Brooks only just learned that he is going to be a big brother for the second time. “He said, ‘Mama, is there a baby in your belly?’” says the Las Vegas alum. “And he goes, ‘I told you and Daddy to make me a baby!’”
Meanwhile, Sims has her hands full with Scarlett. “Her nickname is Spicy,” says Sims. “She goes through all my handbags. Literally she stole my little Chanel and wouldn’t give it back. She’s hilarious.”
Sim announced her pregnancy via Instagram on August 9. “This is happening. This is like our Hail Mary,” a choked-up Sims said on her office YouTube channel. “This is such a true surprise. I think that’s why I’m so emotional.”
