Becki Newton and her husband Chris Diamantopoulos are expecting their first child together, her rep confirms to UsMagazine.com.

In April, the Ugly Betty actress, 32, admitted she wasn't in a rush to start a family.
"I think someday, when the time is right, it'll happen," she told Us.

The couple, who wed in 2005, first met when Diamantopoulos, 35, approached Newton in a Times Square subway station.

Newton -- who is currently shooting her new NBC series Love Bites -- will continue to film the comedy throughout her pregnancy.
