Ryan Phillippe's Ex Alexis Knapp Gives Birth to Baby Girl

Model-actress Alexis Knapp gave birth to a baby girl on Friday -- with ex-boyfriend Ryan Phillippe at her side, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
Back in March, Us was first to report that Knapp, 21, was expecting -- and had announced to pals that actor Phillippe (they dated last year before parting ways in September 2010) was the father. Another source adds that the Lincoln Lawyer actor, 36, "has known since the beginning that he's the dad. He is not taking a paternity test."

Explains the source of Phillippe's presence during the birth: "He is a good father, and whether this is his baby or not, he wants to do the right thing and be supportive." Phillippe (dad to Deacon, 7, and Ava, 11 with ex-wife Reese Witherspoon) was photographed for the first time with Knapp in late June, escorting the mom-to-be to a doctor's appointment.
As for So Undercover actress Knapp, "she has never asked Ryan for any help, nor does she expect it," her rep told Us.
"Alexis has maintained her silence and will continue to do so," the rep continued. "She continues to appreciate the love and support of her family and friends."
A pal added that Knapp is "really excited to be a mom."

8As someone who knows Alexis, who are you to judge her? None of us lead perfect lives. Weather Ryan is the father or not is between Alexis, Ryan and their families. Who authorized any of you to cast stones??

She was the one that broke the new first months ago so she is not keeping silent and she said Ryan is the father but there still is no proof I guess he will have to take a paternity test and I am sure Alexis will feel like a fool if he is not the father as Ryan has been there for her recently.....oh and Brandy there has been pics of him and Deacon and Ava over the years, Reese is just getting way more exposure than Ryan

"Alexis has maintained her silence and will continue to do so," Oh, really? Where was this silence when she called up some rag mag telling them to print this story? How does that equate to silence and not wanting anything from him? She's just a gold-digger like the rest of them.
Well, at least he was there for her, but ever heard of a condom????? He needs to be more careful. If he's the dad I hope he is as good as he seems to be with his other kids.
