He's here, he's there, and he's just like Us! Sarah Michelle Gellar posted a photo of her Elf on the Shelf reading a copy of "Elf Weekly" in an adorable Instagram update shared on Monday, December 14.

Gellar, 38, posted a pic of two elves in their miniature rooms. One elf gets ready for bedtime on his little trundle bed, while the other hangs out on the ledge of a bathtub in a bathroom. The elf in the bathroom pages through a colorful copy of "Elf Weekly" — not unlike Us Weekly — while the other doll waits in the bedroom.

"Honey are you almost done in there??" #elfontheshelf

"'Honey are you almost done in there??'" Gellar cleverly captioned the snap. "#elfontheshelf."

Gellar and her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., reintroduced Santa's tiny little spies to their young kids, Rocky and Charlotte, last week. "They are #back," the Buffy alum wrote, alongside a pic of the elves dangling from a chandelier. "Loosely translated to #mom stays up late at night thinking of new places to hide them and new #trouble for them to get into. 23 days 14 hours and 23 minutes- but who's counting???"

The mischievous dolls with side eyes  based on Carol Aebersold's 2005 award-winning children's fable, The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition  are beloved among celebrity households including the Kardashians and the Spelling-McDermott family.

Since bringing the elves back to her home this holiday season, Gellar has already conjured up numerous clever spots for the dolls. So far, she's positioned the elves on a banana holder, near a candle flame, atop coffee mugs, and sprawled in the middle of an open package of her Foodstirs baking kit. "#Causingastir with @foodstirs #elfontheshelf #troublemakers #nationalbrownieday," she captioned one snap.

Searching for elves is just one of many bonding activities for the family of four.

In an interview with Us Weekly this past October, Gellar said her kids were pros in the kitchen. "I'm always looking for things that I can do with my family where we really enjoy the experience, where you get to unplug and connect, and . . . Everything happens in the kitchen," Gellar told Us at her Foodstirs NYC event. "They're always telling us how to do stuff now."
