Family bonding! Simon Cowell is getting in some quality time with his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, and the couple's young son, Eric.
The American Idol alum, 55, shared a gorgeous family vacation photo via Twitter on Tuesday, Aug. 11, offering a peek into his time in the sun with his loved ones. Eric, 17 months, has grown up a bit in the rare photo, coming into his time as a toddler.
The cute tot, whom Cowell and Silverman, 38, welcomed in February 2014, wears a bucket hat in the sweet shot, and is ready for summer in a T-shirt and board shorts.
Sitting seaside, the parents grin in matching mirrored aviator sunglasses. Cowell sports white swim trunks, while a sliver of Silverman's orange swimsuit can be seen in the photo.
Eric is Cowell's first child, and the second son for Silverman. The mother of two famously split from her first husband, Andrew Silverman in 2013, when it was revealed that she and Cowell were expecting a child together.
"I was always nervous I may not end up getting on particularly well with the person I was going to have a kid with and I didn't want to make the wrong decision," Cowell told HELLO! magazine last October. "The fact is, our baby wasn't planned [and] was actually the best thing for us to have done and we're very happy now."
