Sir Elton John and David Furnish, 48, have been doing a bit of nesting since welcoming new baby Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John.
The legendary musician jokes to UsMagazine.com that he and his husband have redecorated their home with this week's cover of Us Weekly, which features their son, who was born on Christmas Day.
"We've decorated our whole apartment with it!" John told Us at the press junket for Gnomeo & Juliet Friday (John and Furnish are producers for the animated flick). "We wake up and look at it. We're very happy with the way it's turned out."
Added the singer, who donated all the proceeds from the licensing of the photos, "We raised a lot of money for our foundation with it and we all look pretty amazing, especially Zachary and the interview was lovely so we're very happy, thank you very much."
Their tot's first photo shoot has been just one highlight of the couple's first month of fatherhood.
"It's fantastic," John, 63, told Us of being a dad. "I love the smell of nappies. Actually, obviously, it's been the most wonderful thing that's probably ever happened to me after meeting David."
The musician adds that the transition to parenting has been surprisingly easy.
"It's been very relaxing because this little soul that you're feeding and you're changing and you're bathing and you're telling bedtime stories to is a blank palette, a blank canvas and all he needs is love and nurturing, which is the most wonderful feeling," said John, though he added, "When he gets to talking and running around, I'll probably feel a little different."
