The family moved from their home in Utah to Las Vegas, Nevada last year after police launched an investigation into their polygamist lifestyle. In July, Brown filed a lawsuit challenging the polygamy law in Utah.

No, according to what has been shown on their TV show, none of them have found a job in Las Vegas (although Kody, Christine, and Janelle were shown thinking about getting real estate selling licenses). But, they have a TV show now, for which they are being paid, so they probably have enough money to get by without anyone getting a regular job.

@Luz: From what I recall (I watched the show until it bored me silly), they aren't on welfare at all. He had a very good job (don't know what he does now in Vegas) and so did two of the other wives. I would surmise the wives found other jobs as well as he did. Remember that being on the welfare rolls calls attention to your family.

I wonder who his next wife will be!!! ' I feel sad that these women are willing to share this man between them. I was lucky to have a a wonderful husband and I wouldnt have shared him with anyone! We didnt need anyone else, I had thirty years with a man who was faithful to me and loved me. What they are doing is wrong however attractive they may all be. Just think if 4 wives shared one husband!!! NO I dont think that would work! I know it does in some countries where a man can have several wives but in general one woman and one man works better!!!!

I can only wonder what welfare program paid for the birth of this child and the food and clothing and housing for all the other ones. Your tax dollars at work.

I'd like to see a woman have three husbands...

You know I think it is GREAT that their baby was born. It should not matter how they live their life. As long as they are happy and the kids are taken care people need to leave them alone.

How these women buy into this is beyond me...so he gets five wives and the settle to share their life with a self-centered husband...yuck. I am sure they're happy since their expectations are low anyway
