It's no wonder why Anna Faris has a big grin on her face!
The Scary Movie actress, 35, and her Parks and Recreation actor husband, Chris Pratt, 33, welcomed their first child, son Jack, on August 25. "Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are happy to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Jack," Faris' rep told Us Weekly. "He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU."
Two days later, the actors were spotted taking their three dogs to a kennel in L.A.'s Reseda neighborhood before visiting their newborn son at the hospital. Faris — who wore a red tee and loose gray shorts — sipped a small coffee as Pratt guided their pet pooches inside.
Prior to their son's birth, an insider told Us the couple had long planned to start a family. "Having a kid is a big deal to both of them — they didn't take this lightly."
Faris and Pratt met on the 2007 set of Take Me Home Tonight. They became engaged in January 2009 and married six months later in a small ceremony in Bali. Pratt also played one of Faris' former flames, Disgusting Donald, in the 2011 rom-com What's Your Number?.
