New York Fashion Week isn't until next month, but try telling that to Suri Cruise, who changed her outfit twice while out about in the Big Apple on Tuesday.

PHOTOS: The fabulous life of Suri Cruise

First, she donned her favorite pink faux fur coat by H&M Kids with a purple DKNY Kids dress and matching Venettini moccasins. She accessorized with an oversized Armani fedora hat (possibly on loan from mom, Katie Holmes) and her American Girl Bitty Baby doll. See more pictures of Suri's adorable pink coat.

Later, she switched to a blue tiered ruffle dress from Gap Kids, a pink hat, gold mini heels and a purple clutch.

The stylish tot celebrated her 5th birthday in April with a lavish tea party at her parents' Beverly Hills Mansion.

Wearing a frilly pink dress and turquoise sunglasses, Suri -- famous for her high-priced couture ($850 Ferragamo bags, $635 dresses) -- sat at the head of the table, surrounded siblings Connor, 18, and Isabella, 16 (among other guests).

Why the tea party theme? "I kind of like to girl it up!" mom Holmes, 32, explained. "This is my favorite day of the year."

Suri Cruise and the Jolie-Pitt kids always look like little unkept ragamuffins to me, does Katie or her maid/nanny not know how to use a iron? The kids are not fashionistas, whatever that is.

Does this kid dress herself? I guess that explains why she is wearing a coat in August and sundresses in December, also her hair never looks like it has been brushed. Hey Katie would it kill Suri to have her hair pulled back out of her face with a bow, barrette, headband? Anything? also her clothes are usually wrinkled. My 6yr old granddaughter is way more put together than this kid!

Not only is a 5 yr old wearing heels, she also is wearing lipstick!!! Come on folks this is a little girl NOT a grown up woman. Why are the parents allowing her to grow up so fast? If she wants to play dress-up...do it at home NOT on the streets of NYC! BTW were is her pacifer that she still uses?

Sure she is cute. But really why a faux fur coat in summer, or any coat for that matter? Also, those clothes do look a little wrinkle Seriously Katie ,I know you had to see that. But this isnt news worthy after all.

how can anyone say that we won't see her misbehaving as an adult or teenager??? really? it's usually the most privelaged children that misbehave - hello, paris hilton anyone? need i mention lindsay lohan. i'm sure most have been taught how to behave but because they have been given everything to them their whole lives they don't think that regular rules apply to them!!!! and trust fund or not, it's sad that parents lavish their children with this kind of extravegant stuff & then they won't know any better once they are grown up.

She's just a kid that likes to dress up. And who knows, maybe she spilled milk on her dress. Kids do that, you know. If my daughter made the headlines every time that happens, she'd be world famous. I've read in a magazine once that her parents don't give her a normal life, but, if you ask me, it's basically the press that doesn't give this kid the chance on a normal life. Ofcourse she goes shopping with Mom, trying out lipsticks. Ofcourse she goes with Dad to the Superbowl. That's what normal parents do, you see, they spend time with their kids.

Is it coat weather in New York all ready? It's hard to comprehend anyone wearing a coat when it's 94 degrees outside my door lol.

Say what you want about SURI. I bet we won't see her doing drugs or behaving classless as a teenager/young adult. She might be spoiled but I bet she is taught the proper way to behave.

I keep wondering who in their right mind would put heels on a 5y old? I don´t care how much crap they spoil that kid with, but those shoes are just wrong.

LOL! Such a cutie. I could see her modeling when she is a bit older. A real young lady.

@Carmen Stewart Mestagh What makes you think she'll become responsible for herself at any age, much less 18? People who lavish their children this way never cut the apron strings. Cruise has made hundreds of millions of dollars. You can bet Suri had a huge trust fund

  • August 17, 2011 - 12:20pm Carmen Stewart Mestagh

what i want to know is, why would a child's parents spend that much on things for them? regardless of how rich they are. what happens when she turns 18 and becomes responsible for herself & has to find a way to come up with the income to support the lifestyle that her parents have lavished her with for the first 18 years of her life??? that's the real tragedy here. i could care less how many times a day she changes her outfit.

Next step - teacher her how to use an iron.
