For Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham, life as a single mother (to Sophia, 18 months) is stressful enough. In the new issue of Us Weekly, the 19-year-old admits she was overwhelmed when she discovered she'd been scammed out of $3000.

(As documented on the MTV hit's Aug. 17 episode, Abraham had wired $3000 in shipping costs to a person to whom she thought she had sold her car; the buyer's $8000 check turned out to be fraudulent, and her $3000 couldn't be recovered.)

After the scam, she says her parents lent support — but no cash. "I have to feed and take responsibility for myself and Sophia, so I was definitely worried" about losing the $3000, she admits to Us. "I think it's melded into me that I can't do it all my own," adds the Iowa native.

The single mom (Sophia's dad Derek Underwood died a 2008 car accident, two months before her birth) is a culinary student and a part-time waitress; she moved out of the home she shared with her mom Debra Danielson following a January domestic dispute.
