When it comes to being a dad, it's no surprise Tom Brady plans to bond with his boys over football.
The New England Patriots quarterback -- who welcomed 2-month-old son Benjamin with wife Gisele Bundchen -- tells Extra that he is looking forward to the day he can play sports with his family off the NFL field.

"It's a great thing to see them run around at the football game or at least one of them run around," says Brady, referring to his eldest child, 2-year-old son John, with ex Bridget Moynahan.

He adds: "For a long time, I didn't know when I was going to be a father, and now I have two boys."
John, Benjamin and Gisele are all getting more face time with the proud papa, whose team isn't competing in this Sunday's Super Bowl.

"I like to spend time with my family and friends and get a little rest," he tells Extra of his downtime. "Because, obviously, during the football season, there's not a whole lot of that!"

13He is too a good Dad, Gi is a good step-mom, John is smiling when she is with him. Check the pictures. Bridget is the one who didn't hear Tom say he didn't want to get married or wanted children, he was only 29 then, she is responsilbe for birth control so, someday John will know what she did. Tom should teach his boys to holster their guns before they shoot.....
MoralityPolice, everyone in America does not need to fit themselves into your idea of the perfect family unit. I know this will sound crazy to you, but a child can grow up just as well-adjusted and loved with separated biological parents. I don't think Jack would have benefited from growing up in a home where his parents were trapped in a loveless marriage. He seems content in his living situation. He's surrounded by people who love him and will provide for him. I don't think the rest really matters. This is a sweet article and I'm glad Tom is getting the time right now to enjoy fatherhood. :)
I agree with Jay. Parenting goes much better when you don't start off with expectations.
Oh that is so NICE of you to include your oldest son, why didn't you marry the baby's Momma..you didn't having any problems getting her PG and running off...not buying the devoted Dad crap...You let Old Girl Giselle sway your interest ..when you should have married the other one instead...Somebody neuter this guy alread
Tom i'm sooooo proud of you,uR #1 big fan..... luv your fine a-s:]
Read the baby book of names Jack and John are the same name just like William & Bill are the same name.
So, what if his boys don't like sports, especially football? I know lots of guys who don't. They like individual sports like tennis or golf, or what if they don't like sports at all? He gonna force them? I hate it when parents assume their kids must be a certain way, expect it. They need to let them evolve without pushing something on them. Maybe the boys will be musical or artistic and hate sports. My artist boyfriend couldn't care less about sports and his dad always tried to shove him into them; he hated his dad for it. Kids just born or 2, and they have expectations of them already, that is just plain wrong.
That is so sweet
Heâ??s hot, John is such a adorable boy...Iâ??m so happy for them!
I know what his real name is, !!. Everyone calls him Jack. In Bridget's interviews, she's referred to him as Jack. Gisele has referred to him as Johnny, although I don't think people call him that as much. The kid is allowed to have nicknames.
Umm "Anon2009" the son's name is John! Read the article again!
I'm glad he has continued to be in Jack's life.
