Exclusive: Top Model's "Miss J" Reveals: "I'm a Dad!"

America's Next Top Model judge "Miss J" Alexander has a surprising secret: He has a 7-year-old son.
"I'm a dad," he announced on The Tyra Show Tuesday.

The former model said he and his ex-boyfriend Alex -- whom he dubbed "the doctor" -- were both sperm donors.
"A French lesbian had asked if we would be sperm donors," he told Banks. "So we thought, 'OK, you want me to do you?' And she was like, 'Ooooh, I'm not that talented.' So I said, 'Okay fine.' So we did a little test tube."

Although he said he isn't the biological father (his ex is), Miss J added that he is still actively involved in Boris' life.
In his new book Follow the Model (which hits shelves today), he writes: "The experience has enriched my life beyond imagination."

He said his son is "an incredibly smart child. He was toilet-trained at a year and three months. He refuses to drink out of plastic and will use only glass."

34LOL i know plenty of straight fathers who don't EVEN come and see their child let alone support them, so what do you have to say about that, i'm sure you probably give these deadbeats a pass huh? or call the mom a loser for choosing him. It might not be peoples lifestyle, it ain't necessarily mine but i don't have anything against it, i think every child deserves a loving family and every child deserves to have an adult in their life and someone they can hear "i love you" from. I'm even ok with gays adopting, too bad it wasn't easier in the US because there is alot of kids in foster homes waiting for someone to love them. Open your eyes more. Not all mom/dad traditional families are ok, some kids live in an abusive home, are neglected or ignored, mom and dad fighting. why not give all kids the opportunity.

OMG, really, judging him as a father because he is flamboyant? Not Fair! He is probably a better father than some and at least he's in his child's life.

So much hate for someone you don't even know. Homosexuality is a fact of life whether human or any other species. It doesn't harm you and it doesn't harm children raised by gay couples. That's a fact. Those of you who were raised to hate have bad parents. Those of you who raise your children to hate are bad parents. J. Alexander has stated he never wanted to be a woman, he dressed in drag for entertainment and became a model in J.apan. The end. As for calling himself "Miss J." it was a contestant on ANTM who nicknamed him that. Life's too short to exhibit such hate. Any child who has love in his life from all sources is lucky.

To Seriously?, Now how do you know that? You're not there 24/7 seeing what he does for and how he interacts with that boy. He may be the best father in the world. We just don't know what goes on in other people's personal lives unless they have a reality show.

A child doesn't have to be biological for someone to be a father to it.
well, "get a clue", sperm donor ARE sometimes needed to create life even in heterosexual relationships. and i agree that this man is not truly the "father" because he didn't even donate his sperm, but whether he is gay or not has nothing to do with it so stop being homophobic!
gingerbread03 can't read. No where in the article did it say J and his ex-boyfriend had this child together. A woman (lesbian) asked for them to be sperm donors. J's sperm was not used. Therefore, he is NOT the father of this child.
