Legions of boy band fans across America aren't the only ones psyched 98 Degrees is touring this summer with Boyz II Men and New Kids on the Block: Nick Lachey's wife, Vanessa Minnillo, can't wait, either! "I'm very excited about this tour! I remember when all my girlfriends went to a Boyz II Men concert in 6th grade, and remember being nine-years-old old and getting my NKOTB sleeping bag. I literally told Nick this was a dream come true for me," Minnillo told Us Weekly during an interview Feb. 20.
An added bonus for Minnillo this summer: She's bringing five-month-old baby Camden along to take part in the concert tour fun! "Nick is going to be on the road for a while, and I want his family around," explains Minnillo, 32, who wed the 98 Degrees singer in 2011 and welcomed Camden in September 2012. "I want him to come off stage and see me and Camden standing there supporting him. We will be there when we can."
Minnillo — who spoke to Us on Stylemaker Day, hosted by P&G's Have You Tried This Yet? campaign — says the couple's son is growing by leaps and bounds. "He's starting to eat solid foods. I'm like every new mom, convinced my kid is so advanced," she tells Us. "He's also grabbing the spoon and putting it toward his mouth."
As her family prepares to hit the road, Minnillo hints that 98 Degrees fans will be pleasantly surprised with her husband's new music. "I am obsessed with the new songs they have — Nick has been playing them for me," she tells Us of the music the group will release on their May 7 album, 2.0, their first in more than a decade. "They have six tracks finished and are halfway through the album. It's amazing. People are going to love it."
