Exclusive: What Jon Voight Says About the Way Shiloh Dresses

Seems everyone has something to say about 4-year-old Shiloh Jolie-Pitt's style.
What does grandpa Jon Voight think?
"Shiloh's an amazing person," he told UsMagazine.com Sunday at a gala honoring film producer Avi Arad in Los Angeles. "I look at the way she dresses and she has a style! And she's only 4-years old! I'm going, 'What!?'"

Echoing previous remarks made by Angelina Jolie, Voight, 71, told Us, "Shiloh chooses everything she wears, so she's an amazing person. The press, they're going to make a lot of stuff about it, but she's incredible."

Jolie recently described Shiloh as having "Montenegro style" -- a phrase that baffled many fashion experts -- because she prefers to wear "tracksuits." "Shiloh’s hysterically funny, one of the goofiest, most playful people you’ll ever meet," she said. "....Goofy and verbal, the early signs of a performer."

Jolie, 35, recently scoffed at reports that she chooses Shiloh's clothes for her.
"I think she is fascinating," she told Reuters, "the choices she is making."

34Shilo is such a doll but then again all the jolie-pitt children are cute and I'm jealous 'cause I don't have such cool parents who validate thier children without shamimg them into being who they are not.
Shiloh is a darling little girl and should allowed to be that. Any talk of her wanting to be a boy is mean hearted and a form of child abuse. All this kind of focus on Shiloh is wrong.

I am glad the Pitts encourage their children to find their own style. There is no reason to force kids to wear clothes that are "gender appropriate" according to what you were told when you were growing up in the 50's. I'm one who has never cared for pinks, pastels, and lacy things because I was surrounded by it and told that these were what girls wear. And yet, I still know how to dress like a woman. And I'm comfortable doing so.
If Maddox and the other boy wanted to dress like girls would that be ok also? I don't believe 4 yr olds aren't influenced by their parents..they have something to do with this.Weird!!!
i have a 4 & 7 year old girls...they wear what they want to everyday that's what children do- they are showing their independence. obviously the press who report on these young children don't have kids and know nothing about childhood! good grief give it rest...shiloh rocks!

I don't have a problem with this little girl wearing tom boy clothes. I don't think that is anyone else's business. What I do have a problem with is her wearing boy's swim trunks with no top and being photographed.
First coherent thing I've heard Jon Voight say in a long time...most of his comments sound like ramblings from a mental patient.
I think she is cute,but I really dont think she is picking out her wardrobe on her own.Im sure Angelina has some input .
Cracks me up, everyone arguing over what this little girl wears. If she doesn't want to dress like a little girl,who cares? She'll be changing her ways soon,just like all little kids do.
Anyone that thinks this little girl, or any little girl, should be forced to dress in what western society deems appropriate should get over themselves and STFU. Shiloh is amazing, and is developing naturally - difficult given her parentage and status in the media, so all the more incredible. She is beautiful, and will be comfortable facing the world no matter what comes at her. On a side note, I love that Jon Voight and the Jolie-Pitts are getting closer - that family connection with certainly strengthen them so long as they maintain the respect and love that they've shown each other lately.
Okay...I see how they would want her own creative side to come out. But, whose, the mom, whose the dad, she is a girl! She should dress like one is my opinion.
