Zac Brown Welcomes a Baby Girl

Country music singer Zac Brown has had an exciting week!
He and his wife Shelly welcomed a baby girl, Georgia Sloan Brown, on Wednesday -- hours after he was nominated for his first CMA awards, his rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

The Zac Brown Band frontman's wife, Shelly Brown, gave birth to the couple's third child at 11:50 p.m. Georgia Sloan -- who weighed in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces -- joins big sisters Justice, 2, and Lucy, 1.

The musician was nominated in the new artist, vocal group and single of the year (for chart-topper "Chicken Fried") categories. Brown also got a solo nod for writing the song.
