File this under things you never needed to know. After his terrible first pitch at the Mets game on Tuesday, May 27, 50 Cent told Good Morning America that the ball just "slipped" out of his hand. But in a Reddit Ask Me Anything on Tuesday, June 3, he gave a very different explanation for the hilarious ballpark blunder.
Asked about the less-than-stellar display of his athletic prowess (or lack thereof), the G-Unit rapper joked, "I have a skeletal muscle injury on my left shoulder from excessive masturbation so take it easy." Reddit users promptly responded with "Curtis Jacks-off" quips, a play on the star's real name, Curtis Jackson.
50 Cent—whose new album, Animal Ambition, dropped June 3—previously said he'd been getting a lot of flak for the pitch. "I actually got pulled over by New York City police, they pulled me over in my car…and I said, 'I got my license, right?' Because I was a little nervous when [the cop] pulled me over," he shared on GMA. "I was, like, 'Oh no, what did I do?' And then he said, 'You know that pitch was terrible.'"
Check out a few other highlights from the rapper's AMA:
On his most famous song, "In Da Club": "Every day is someone's birthday that song won't go away."
On his dream acting role: "One of the Marvel franchise. Or Star Wars."
On whether Iggy Azalea's "booty" is real: "Next time I see her Ima squeeze it and find out for you ok. I will report back to you shortly."
On his craziest tour story: "The craziest. Wow I remember on the massacre tour I had my young homie on the road. I had this new energy so I was looking at girls like oh you can't get that. I come out of my room see whats up to find my homie locked out his room tryin to hide in his wifebeater and no underwear. He had left the girl in his room to go get condoms and got locked out. I put his ass on punishment for a week. He had to sleep on the couch. No girls after the shows."
