Chris Brown may be in the clear -- for now.
On Tuesday, the R&B singer flipped out after a tense interview on Good Morning America (Robin Roberts asked him questions about his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna) trashed his dressing room and smashed a window. But ABC has decided not to press charges, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

What's more, Brown's probation -- related to the Rihanna attack -- is also not endangered. (If a judge had prosecuted the star, 21, for vandalizing the GMA dressing room, he could have faced prison time.)

Hours after his early-morning tantrum (Brown stormed out of the ABC studios shirtless), the star, all smiles, hit the basketball courts in Manhattan's Greenwich Village. That night, sources tell UsMagazine.com, he reportedly stayed downtown for dinner.

So far, Brown remains on the schedule to sing on Tuesday's Dancing With the Stars; his Wednesday appearance on Lopez Tonight, however, was canceled.
