Vegas went country — big time! — on Sunday for the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Here, Us Weekly recaps some of the biggest, buzziest moments of the night.
A wedding!
Christina Davidson and Frank Tucci married as 12,000 fans in the arena looked on in an onstage ceremony, with Martina McBride and Train’s Pat Monahan crooning “Marry Me.” The couple met in a grief support group after the deaths of both of their spouses.
Ashton sings!
Ashton Kutcher tried his hand at singing — and country-western couture — as he presented the Female Vocalist of the Year award. Demi Moore‘s ex, 34, dedicated a warbly version of George Strait’s “I Cross My Heart” to the losing ladies in the category.
Miranda’s reign continues!
Host Blake Shelton’s wife Miranda Lambert won her third Album of the Year award for Four the Record — tying her with the greats, Alabama and George Strait. “Seriously?!” she said at the podium.
Taylor gets teased
Taylor Swift, winning another Entertainer of the Year award, was the brunt of Shelton and co-host Reba McEntire‘s jokes — specifically her rumored romance (or at least hardcore crush on!) NFL star Tim Tebow.
Country infiltrators!
In addition to Kutcher, other unexpected guests at the bash were LL Cool J, Marc Anthony, KISS, Lionel Ritchie, and Kelly Clarkson — who won a trophy with fellow American Idol winner Scott McCreery.
