Nobody puts Behati in the corner! Adam Levine and fiancee Behati Prinsloo did more than just open presents during the holidays. The couple was photographed having the time of their lives as they reenacted an iconic Dirty Dancing scene while playing in the pool on Thursday, Jan. 2.
During their Los Cabos, Mexico getaway, Levine, 34, was photographed lifting the Victoria's Secret model over his head, just like Johnny (Patrick Swayze) and Baby (Jennifer Grey) did in the 1987 classic's lake dance rehearsal scene. The Voice mentor wore black swimming shorts for the stunt, while a smiling Prinsloo, 24, wore a black bikini top and rainbow-colored bikini bottoms.
The couple — engaged since July 2013 — shared a hilarious picture of the Maroon 5 singer while wrapping presents on Dec. 23. "My ghost of Christmas present…..get it get it?" Prinsloo wrote, next to an Instagram photo of Levine hiding behind wrapping paper. He also donned striped pajamas at the time.
Earlier last month, Levine also gushed about his bride-to-be. "She's the greatest ever," he said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Dec. 5. "We're both super messy. It looks like a tornado hit wherever we hang out."
