It's been a tough week for the NFL. Just four days after Baltimore Ravens player Ray Rice was cut from his team and suspended from the league in a shocking domestic abuse scandal, news broke on Friday, Sept. 12, that Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been indicted in a child abuse case, according to various reports by TMZ, CBS, and other outlets.

Details are murky on the case, as there has been no official word from Peterson, 29, nor his attorney. There are conflicting reports on the age and identity of the young male victim, as well as his relationship to the football star, who has been playing for the Vikings since 2007.
