Alexa Ray Joel "Looking Forward to Getting Back on Track"

Alexa Ray Joel is on the mend.
The 23 year-old musician, who left St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan's Greenwich Village Sunday, is "feeling much better," her rep tells Usmagazine.com. "She is with her family and looking forward to getting back on track."

Joel herself expressed her gratitude in a statement, "I want to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support."
The only child of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley dialed 911 Saturday after popping a handful of homeopathic pills. The New York Post reported that Alexa was distraught over the end of a recent relationship, and swallowed eight tablets of Traumeel, an herbal alternative to ibuprofen. The pills were incapable of killing her, but the panicked singer reportedly called the hospital for help.
The singer will be staying with her father as she recuperates.

10I think the lesson here is that homeopathy "medicine" does absolutely nothing.
Libby, homeopathic medicines aren't herbal. They are based on water that have had active ingredients diluted to the point where not a single molecule of the ingredient is left. Droplets of the water are then placed onto little pills that are, effectively, empty. Quite how that's supposed to cure anything is anyone's guess!
She shouldn't be too upset about getting dumped, a gorgeous wealthy girl like that should be able to find someone else in a minute!
I'm embarrassed for her just reading this. Making the lamest attempt on her life with an herbal supplement over a breakup and having it plastered all over the news, that's rough.
Poor girl, hope she does get back on track. She's really beautiful. And, to "Not All Bad"...so funny :)

I hope Alexa makes a full recovery. Her soulful eyes and charming voice make for a great combination. Her life is still ahead of her. Don't give up on yourself, Alexa, and don't EVER allow any stupid guy ruin your life! Believe me, you are worth way more than that.
