Fans of True Blood tend to be pretty passionate about Alexander Skarsgard‘s hunky physique. After all, the actor was never shy about stripping down and flaunting his chiseled abs on the HBO vampire drama. Now he’s putting his hot body to good use in a new music video by Australian techno band Cut Copy.
In the video for the band’s new single, “Free Your Mind,” the 37-year-old Swedish native dons a long blond wig (a la Eric Northman in Season 1). Naturally Skarsgard’s pants are riding extra low, and at the end of the video, he throws off his robe, leaving little to the imagination.
Apart from being nearly naked, ASkars lets things get a little strange while playing a cult leader in the video. After playing the bongo drums on some track suit-clad followers’ heads, he makes his way through a basketball game and into a pool where he performs an oddly sexual baptism. He then enters a house filled with unusual inhabitants, pees while someone taking notes watches, and then stares at a couple having sex.
The sexy stud is no stranger to the weird or abstract. He appeared in the apocalyptic Lars von Trier film Melancholia and his father, Stellan Skarsgard, is in von Trier’s new explicit Nymphomaniac movie.
